With the first Thanksgiving meal behind us and the holiday weekend in full swing, people are going back to the movies. Black Friday, typically a big box-office day, is heading toward an all-time record with over $107m, easily surpassing 2013's $85m.
Leading the rush to the cinema is Disney's Moana 2, which already racked up $57.5m on Wednesday, its first day, joining Universal's Wicked and Paramount's Gladiator II as must-sees this Thanksgiving weekend.
Deadline projects Moana 2 could do $200m+, Wicked $105m+ and Gladiator II $45m+.
Now if only we could bring our leftovers to the theater.
