HITS Daily Double

CHART FINAL: TYLER’S TREY AND A DISTANT FA-LA-LA

Tyler, the Creator notches a third week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with CHROMAKOPIA (Columbia), adding nearly 104k to his total. HYBE/Imperial/Republic’s K-pop collective TOMORROW X TOGETHER bows at #2 with 94k.

The rest of the chart looks rather a lot like its predecessor, but we note the return of two holiday perennials, Michael Bublé’s Christmas (Reprise) at #36 and Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas (Columbia) at #47. They’ll soon be joined by assorted Peggys, Bings, Burls, Nats and Snoopys as the jingling of bells gets louder.

Among the releases arriving at press time are the hotly anticipated album by Warner’s Linkin Park and drops from BIGHIT/Geffen’s JIN, Belift Lab/Geffen’s ENHYPEN, Interscope’s Gwen Stefani, Uptown/Republic’s FLO, Nonesuch/Warner’s The Black Keys, RCA’s The Red Clay Strays (Live at the Ryman), Sony Nashville’s Brooks & Dunn, Atlantic’s Cordae, Verve’s Jon Batiste, Via/Thirty TigersDwight Yoakam, BMG’s Nickelback and 300’s Mary J. Blige. If you can’t stock your stuffing with something on this list, consider pivoting to a selection of smoked meats.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to roast our chestnuts, if you know what we mean.
