HITS Daily Double

THIS HITS PHOTO GALLERY IS A TOSS-UP

With elections and chart battles coming down to the wire, we offer you this selection of snapshots from a season of vigorous campaigning, co-starring Billy Joel, Jeremy Erlich, Joe Hadley, Jelly Roll, Steve Schnur, Nir Seroussi, Nate Albert, Jorge Mejia and many more.

Backstage at L.A.'s brand-spanking-new Intuit Dome, the legendary Billy Joel receives a plaque commemorating 1 billion streams from Spotify's Joe Hadley (l) and Jeremy Erlich. Later, said silvery keepsake was deposited into a giant pinball machine, and the IAG-repped Joel won seven free games on a single quarter. Later, there was an animated conversation about whether or not you can see Gus Canazio's hair from space.

BBR
/Republic's Jelly Roll hangs with EA Music boss Steve Schnur in Columbus, Ohio, shortly before a brutal round of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Rumors that Steve has since changed his moniker to Original Glazed could not be confirmed at press time.

After a buzzy show by EMPIRE (CAA) artist Shaboozey at L.A.'s Fonda, the Range-repped artist and his team learned that the two visiting staffers were "Tipsy" by 2pm and by now were at a level of intoxication no song has yet addressed. Seen just before dissociating are (l-r) American Dogwood’s Abas Pauti, HITS' Jesse MacMillan, Shaboozey, HITS' Nicole Ghapgharan and Range Music’s Jared Cotter.

At WME's Latin Music Week Happy Hour in Miami, Roc Nation's Chris Knight, ICLG's J Balvin, Interscope EVP Nir Seroussi and WME's Richard Lom were reminded that it isn't really a happy hour unless HITS is fully absent.

Giant Music
's Daniel Byrnes, Shawn Holiday, Nate Albert and Matt LaMotte with artist Jiggi (center), who inked a pact with Giant Publishing/Warner Chappell. Fortunately, they got through the entire photo op without anyone saying "get Jiggi with it."

Fuerza Regida
frontman JOP (in sunglasses) and his Street Mob Records inked a deal with Sony Music Publishing. Seen just before sprinting off in search of eyewear sponsorships are Diego Toro, SMP President & CEO, Latin America and U.S. Latin Jorge Mejia, JOP and SMP Latin Director, Creative Monica Jordan.

HITS'
Jonathan Cohen (right), Republic's Marcus King and Walker Curtis from Flux Studios (left) before Marcus' 10/13 show at Brooklyn Paramount. Later, Jonathan asked several probing questions about the relative merits of Ernie Ball strings versus, say, D'Addario.

Eagles of Death Metal
's Jesse Hughes, Danny Wimmer Presents' Mary Kusnier and manager Marc Pollack convened for this joyous tableau at the Aftershock Festival. Later, Marc enjoyed reading 6,423 emails about replacing a comma in this week's magazine.
