SICK NEW WORLD SCORES STAR HEADLINERS

Live Nation's Sick New World has been at the forefront of the single-day so-called "mega-fests" since debuting in 2023, offering stacked lineups with upwards of 50 bands from the heavier side of the rock landscape.

The 2025 edition will boast its biggest bill to date, with Metallica and the reunited Linkin Park anchoring the 4/12 event at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Also set to appear are Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Gojira, AFI, Tomahawk, 311, Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway, The Flaming Lips, The Sisters of Mercy, Meshuggah, Filter, Mastodon, Refused, the Melvins, Cradle of Filth and Acid Bath, the latter performing for the first time in nearly three decades.

Sick New World and its emo-leaning Vegas sibling When We Were Young are the brainchild of Live Nation talent buyer Jeffrey Shuman, who exited the company last month. The fests will now be booked by Live Nation-owned C3 Presents and its veteran buyer Huston Powell.
