Donald Glover has canceled the remaining 2024 dates of his New World Tour, including stops in North America and Europe. The multihyphenate broke the news on his socials, explaining that he needs surgery but without disclosing the cause.
“After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent," he wrote. "After being assessed, it became clear I would not perform that night, and after more tests, I could not perform the rest of the U.S. tour in the time asked. As of now I have surgery scheduled and need time out to heal."
Glover ensured those who'd already purchased tickets that they'd receive a full refund. He did not say whether his concerts in New Zealand and Australia, scheduled for January and February, would be canceled as well.
Glover announced the AEG-produced outing in May, revealing that it would be his last as Childish Gambino.
