THE 50-50 KID

No, this isn’t a sports site, but when sports history is made in such breathtaking fashion, we have to celebrate it.

On Thursday, Dodgers unicorn Shohei Ohtani became the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in the same season. And then he kept going.

In all, Ohtani went yard three times and stole two bases—another MLB first—bringing him to 51 and 51 while going six for six during a 20-4 demolition of the Miami Marlins. That is downright superhero level. We bow down.
