PESO LIGHTS UP INTUIT DOME WITH SNOOP

In his first headlining Southern California shows since performing on the main stage at Coachella last spring, Peso Pluma brought his Live Nation-produced ÉXODO Tour to Anaheim 8/22 and Inglewood 8/24.

These first of eight arena plays in California were sold out, with Doble P packing the new Intuit Dome for its first Saturday-night concert.

Pluma performed for more than two hours, dividing his set between sections of música Mexicana anthems and rhythmic urbano tracks. The audience sang word-for-word, on their feet throughout the 33-track set, making it clear that with GÉNESIS and ÉXODO under his belt in less than two years, Pluma has already established a genre-leading catalog of hits.

The Mexican star also offered a couple of surprises for the Intuit crowd, including Becky G, who joined Peso for “Chanel,” and Snoop Dogg, who rocked a custom jacket with “VIVA MEXICO” styled as the Mexican flag. “Esnoop”—as Peso calls him—performed “The Next Episode” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

Sources say Pluma drew more than 16k to the Intuit Dome, with the total gross exceeding $2.3m.

Meanwhile, Double P, the label co-founded by Pluma and manager George Prajin, has another act breaking in Tito Double P, whose album INCÓMODO will be among the top debuts this week and one of the biggest Latin bows of the year.
