SABRINA POISED FOR U.K. CHART DOMINANCE

Sabrina Carpenter is heading for the top of both the U.K. Official Albums and Singles Charts, with Short n’ Sweet (Island) looking at #1 on the former and “Taste” on the latter.

Short n’ Sweet should become Carpenter's first U.K. Official Albums #1 on Friday (8/30). It’s currently leading the nearest competition two-to-one; Fontaines D.C.'s Romance (XL) is new at #2.

Travis Scott’s 2014 mixtape, DAYS BEFORE RODEO (Cactus Jack/Epic), which arrived on streaming services for the first time to celebrate its 10th anniversary, is set to debut at #6.

Lainey Wilson could have her first U.K. Top 10, with Whirlwind (Broken Bow) at #9, while the LIVE album (BMG) from One Direction member Louis Tomlinson is at #11 following its release on physical formats.

Thanks to news of its long-awaited reunion, Oasis has three records in the Top 40, all of which could move further up the chart by Friday. The hits collection Time Flies… (1994-2009) (Big Brother) is at #14, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? at #26 and Definitely Maybe #31.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, “Taste” is on track to be Carpenter’s third #1 in less than six months. Two more from Short n’ Sweet could chart in this week’s Top 10: former #1 “Please Please Please” is at #5 and “Good Graces” at #10.

“Die With a Smile” (Atlantic/Interscope) by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars is up one to a new peak of #6, while “Somedays” (Solotoko) by Sonny Fodera, Jazzy and D.O.D is up five to #11.

“The Door” (Atlantic) by Teddy Swims is predicted to enter the Top 20 for the first time, at #18.
