QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE CANCEL ALL 2024 DATES

A month after canceling their European tour, Queens of the Stone Age (WME) have scrapped all their remaining 2024 tour dates due to founder and leader Joshua Homme’s “essential medical care.”

According to an Instagram post, “QOTSA regret to announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024 shows. Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year.”

The headlining shows in Boston (9/27-28), Connecticut (9/29), Cincinnati (10/1), Chicago (10/2) and Wisconsin (10/4) have been postponed to 2025, while appearances at the Mempho Music Festival in Memphis (10/6) and Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City (11/17) have been canceled.

In July the band was forced to drop the remainder of its European run due to the frontman’s health issues, requiring him to fly back to the States for emergency surgery. “Every effort was made to push through and play for you, but it is no longer an option to continue,” the Queens said at the time. They were in the middle of a highly successful tour, which included headlining appearances at the Download Festival and Hellfest. They last performed on 7/6 in Milan, Italy.

Today’s announcement concludes, "Josh and the QOTSA family are so thankful for your support and the time we were able to spend together over the last year. Hope to see you all again in 2025."

The band is managed by John Silva for Silva Artists Management and booked by WME's Robby Fraser and Josh Javor.
