UPDATE: ACM HONORS ROPE IN BOLDFACE NAMES

UPDATE: Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Terri Clark, Jordan Davis, Jackson Dean, Kameron Marlowe and Lee Ann Womack have been added to the performance lineup for the 17th annual Academy of Country Music Honors, which will be handed out 8/21 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

The event will air 9/24 as part of a first-time partnership with Dr. Phil's Merit Street, which "is committed to uplifting American values and providing intelligent news and entertainment that celebrates achievements, advocates for justice, cherishes family and fosters inspiration and connection."


The stars are aligning for the 17th annual Academy of Country Music Honors, which will feature performances by Eric Church (pictured), Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Tyler Hubbard, Jamey Johnson, Ashley McBryde, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban.

Transpiring 8/21 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, the event will be hosted for the fourth time by four-time ACM winner Carly Pearce with reigning ACM Song of the Year winner Jordan Davis.

The program will spotlight the achievements of previously announced winners Chris Stapleton (Artist-Songwriter of the Year) and Jessie Jo Dillon (Songwriter of the Year).

Hubbard will do double duty, presenting the ACM Studio Recording and Industry Awards portion of ACM Honors, with trophies covering such categories as Casino of the Year: Theater, Casino of the Year: Arena, Fair/Rodeo of the Year, Festival of the Year, Club of the Year, Theater of the Year, Outdoor Venue of the Year, Arena of the Year, Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year and Promoter of the Year.
