HITS Daily Double

Sabrina Carpenter’s AEG-promoted Short n’ Sweet Tour is doing boffo biz in North America, with all 33 fall dates already sold out. Expect the windfall from tour merch to be another illustration of just how big she’s quickly become.

Insiders say Carpenter was making about $25 a head in merch on her last round of North American roadwork, in 2023, which was largely in theaters and clubs. If you extrapolate those numbers to arenas on a nightly basis, Carpenter could be looking at grosses in excess of $10m for just this first leg of Short n’ Sweet.

The tour begins 9/23 in Columbus, Ohio, though Carpenter will warm up with her first 2024 U.S. headlining appearance 8/10 at San Francisco's Outside Lands. Short n’ Sweet the album, due 8/23 on Island, has already spawned the smash hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” which currently occupy the top two spots at Spotify global.

Carpenter is managed by Janelle Lopez Genzink for Volara Management in partnership with Red Light Management. The budding superstar's merch is handled by Merch Traffic/Live Nation. Carpenter is booked by Mario Tirado and Marlene Tsuchii at CAA.
