AMAZON MUSIC DROPS "SAVE THE MUSIC" MINI-DOC

Amazon Music is rolling out a new mini-documentary called Save the Music: Inspiring Music's Next Generation as part of its Black Music Month "Forever the Influence" programming.

Created with the Save the Music Foundation and NYC Department of Education, the mini-doc features Oscar- and Grammy-winning producer-songwriter D’Mile and Grammy-winning singer Victoria Monét.

The film follows Amazon Music’s collaboration with Save the Music to empower students at Brooklyn's Transit Tech High School by providing musical equipment and a D’Mile production master class.

The film also documents the creation of Monét’s new Amazon Music Original track, “Hollywood (Acoustic),” produced by D’Mile.

Under the aegis of Rotation, Amazon Music's hip-hop and R&B brand, “Forever the Influence” features livestreams, video content and programming "aimed at honoring Black artists whose music has pushed boundaries and defined the culture."

Check out the 12-minute short here and listen to "Hollywood" exclusively on the Amazon Music website.
