TOP 50: TAY EXTENDS RULE AS BILLIE HITS HARD

Republic’s Taylor Swift has extended the reign of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT on the HITS Top 50 to a sixth week; the 31-track blockbuster retains the #1 spot with 177k and is now at 4m in total U.S. activity.

Billie Eilish, meanwhile, spends a second week at #2 with her third album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT (Darkroom/Interscope), notching 149k. WMG’s twenty one pilots follow at #3 with the week’s top debut, Clancy, which moves 144k. BTS alumnus RM’s Right Place, Wrong Person (BIGHIT/Geffen) enters the chart at #5, sandwiched between two Morgan Wallen albums.

Sexyy Red’s surprise mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust (Rebel/gamma.), bows at #16. Entering the Top 20 for the first time is Amusement/Island’s Chappell Roan as a vinyl edition elevates The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess to #17.

Streeting this week are new titles by KQ/RCA’s ATEEZ, Interscope’s Ben Platt, EMPIRE’s Shaboozey, SM/Warner’s aespa, Sony Nashville’s Willie Nelson, Verve’s Arooj Aftab, Socios Carin León and Death Row/gamma.’s Tha Dogg Pound.
