MARCAGI TAMES THE TROUBADOUR

How many music biz execs can we squeeze into one backstage photo? If it means saying cheese in honor of Warner Records rising star Michael Marcagi's sold-out 5/21 Los Angeles debut at the Troubadour, the answer is, more than Lenny Beer could count.

Marcagi's current single, "Scared to Start," has zoomed past 300m global streams and earned platinum certifications around the world. The Cincinnati-based singer-songwriter's Warner debut, American Romance, was released 2/9.

Seen just before re-enacting the stateroom scene from A Night at the Opera are Marcagi (first row), Warner co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson and Warner co-Chairman/CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck (second row), EVP Promotion & Commerce Mike Chester, EVP A&R Jeff Sosnow and EVP Media & Strategic Development Laura Swanson (third row), 7s Management's Alex Brahl, Warner SVP, A&R Chris Morris, EVP Brand Partnerships & Sync Claudia Butsky, SVP Marketing Sam Riddle, HITS editor in chief Beer, Warner CFO Michele Nadelman (fourth row) and HITS A&R Editor Jesse Beer (fifth row).
