BILLIE SECURES FREE RIDES FOR FANS

Look out, FINNEAS: Billie Eilish has a new collaborator.

In an Instagram post, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced that it will offer free rides to and from Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT listening party at Kia Forum Thursday (5/16) on the eve of the Darkroom/Interscope album's release.

“Billie, a longtime climate activist, has partnered with Metro to provide additional shuttle service just for this event and is personally encouraging her fans to take transit,” @metrolosangeles wrote.

Metro buses will be kitted with special messages on their headsigns, including “WHAT WAS I MADE FOR?” (the title of Eilish’s song from the Barbie movie) and “YOUR POWER” (also a song title, from her 2021 album Happier Than Ever).

Eilish hosted a HIT ME LOUD AND SOFT listening party at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday (5/15). “Alright, dudes, so I’m gonna play you the entire album—front to back—and I’m not gonna pause it in the middle,” she told a crowd that cheered every intro and drop.

Although Eilish herself won't be present, dozens of other listening events are planned tonight and tomorrow in movie theaters around the country.

In a possibly related story, a HITS editor has noted that we're all bozos on this bus.
