SRG/ILS Group, home to the catalogs of Brian McKnight, Chaka Khan, Avant, J. Brown, Ruben Studdard, Johnny Gill, Lalah Hathaway, Vivian Green, After 7 and many more, has extended its partnership with Virgin Music Group.
The independent labels SRG/ILS represents include Music Matters, MPress Records and blues outfit Gulf Coast Records, which has enjoyed several #1s in the genre since partnering with SRG/ILS.
In 2023 SRG/ILS launched SRG Jazz, releasing work by David Benoit, Jeff Lorber, Mike Phillips, Xavier Gordon and Damien Escobar.
UB40 released its 45-year anniversary album, UB45, through SRG/ILS. It's currently #1 on the U.K.'s reggae charts. Lalah Hathaway is dropping the first single from her forthcoming LP, VANTABLACK, this week.
