Orville Peck’s got a new label home: Warner Records. And on the heels of inking the deal, the masked country singer has announced his upcoming North American Stampede headlining tour and a new single with Willie Nelson, "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond of Each Other," due 4/5.
The track is Peck’s first new material since he dropped his sophomore album, Bronco, in 2022, which followed his self-produced 2019 debut, Pony.
“I’m incredibly happy to be joining the Warner family and getting back on the road this year,” said the fringe fancier. “I feel happier and healthier than I’ve ever been, and I’m excited to start this new chapter.”
Peck’s North American trek kicks off in Asheville, North Carolina, on 5/28 and will feature support on select dates from The War and Treaty, Durand Jones, Debbii Dawson, Goldie Boutilier, Jaime Wyatt, Gold Star, Nikki Lane, Emily Nenni and Vincent Neil Emerson. The show will hit such major markets as Atlanta, Chicago and L.A. before wrapping up 10/20 in New York.
Citi card members have access to presale tickets beginning today (4/2); the artist presale starts tomorrow at 10am local time and the public on-sale will be up on 4/5. For more tour dates and tickets, click here.
Seen above wishing we’d cover our mugs with fringe masks are (l-r) Warner Records EVP of A&R Jeff Sosnow and co-Chairman/COO Tom Corson, Peck, Warner co-Chairman/CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck and Good World Management’s Brandon Creed, Dani Russin and Anika Capooza. Not pictured: Attorney Jess Rosen, who negotiated the deal for Peck and was off shopping for his own fringed face covering.
