TOP 50: ARI BRINGS TWO WEEKS OF sunshine

Republic’s Ariana Grande spends a second consecutive week at #1 on the HITS Top 50, with eternal sunshine posting 100k.

This week’s chart gives House Lipman its fourth consecutive week at #1 and eighth chart-topping week for the year. Republic Corps has 10 titles in the Top 20, including albums by Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan and Drake, along with four Taylor Swift LPs.

Interscope/MCA Nashville’s Kacey Musgraves earns the week’s top debut, as well as the best-selling bow of her career, with Deeper Well at #2. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter’s sixth studio album moves 95k.

If more indie stores were reporting, Grande’s total would increase and, based on the sector’s contribution to Musgraves’ previous album, she would benefit from a substantial uptick in sales.

RCA’s Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, lands a Top 5 debut; Everything I Thought I Was is at #4. The album moves 65k as JT’s Live Nation tour sells out arenas across the globe. For his part, hot Alamo rapper Bossman Dlow makes his Top 50 debut with Mr. Beat the Road, which enters at #20.

Streeting this week are new titles by Boominati/Freebandz/Republic/Epic’s Future x Metro Boomin, Blue Chair/WMN’s Kenny Chesney, FAX/Epic’s Tyla, Sony Latin’s Shakira and Warner’s Gary Clark Jr., plus a deluxe version of GUTS, from Geffen’s Olivia Rodrigo
