MOM+POP ADOPTS TINY HABITS

The buzzy Berklee College of Music-reared vocal trio Tiny Habits has joined forces with Mom+Pop Music and released its first new song for the label, "Mudroom."

Tiny Habits' Cinya Khan and Maya Rae are current students at Berklee, while Judah Mayowa is an alumnus. Since forming in 2022, the group has made a name for itself on social media thanks, in part, to its vocal harmony, which has drawn fans sympatico with fellow rising young artists Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams (Tiny Habits have toured with both).

Kacey Musgraves is also a new admirer, having debuted several of her new songs with harmony help from the group during a 1/27 New York taping of the upcoming Audible series Energy Curfew Music Hour. The biz is certainly taking notice, too, as industry notables from the booking, management, venue and label worlds were in attendance to watch the Steve Macklam-managed Tiny Habits that night.

Mom+Pop co-owner Thaddeus Rudd praised the three-piece's "intimate, harmonic music and lyrics unique to their generation." Macklam enthused, "What could be better than hanging with Mom+Pop?!"

The group will begin a headlining tour 3/11 in Vancouver, which includes a big New York play at Irving Plaza on 4/7. Hot tip: The password for the open bar is GOLDIE.
