ADA LANDS AT SOUTH COAST

ADA Worldwide, the independent label and artist services arm of WMG, has inked a new global distribution deal with South Coast Music Group (SCMG). Founded by Arnold Taylor, the Charlotte-based company is home to rising rap artists like Dustystaytrue, DeeYounginn, Luclover and Big Mali, who supported Sexyy Red on her tour last fall.

“Arnold is an entrepreneur who had a vision and carved his own unique path in the industry," ADA Worldwide President Cat Kreidich said. "A decade in, and South Coast is thriving."

Taylor founded SCMG in 2014 after sharpening his business skills at Epic, Republic, Interscope, Def Jam and Blackground Records. Serving as an expansion of his South Coast Marketing group, SCMG has launched the careers of DaBaby (SCMG/Interscope) and Toosii (SCMG/Capitol).

ADA’s partners include 10K Projects, Rostrum Records, Sub Pop, Mute Records, Chocolate City, VP Records, Big.Ass.Kids, Defected Records and Centricity Music as well as artists such as Daft Punk, Macklemore, Quevedo, Papa Roach, The Rose, Dylan Conrique and Murda Beatz. Unsurprisingly, we've been put on a "do not reply" list by every single one of them. Pictured happily at peace knowing we can't infiltrate her inbox is Kreidich.
