Nicki Minaj has a new shade for Flipover Friday: Pink. Her Pink Friday 2 is dominating multiple iTunes and Apple Music charts. Tate McRae, meanwhile, has an impressive opening on the album side.
Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 (YM/Republic) is #1 at iTunes and Apple Music while the album’s tracks occupy 21 of the Top 25 slots at iTunes songs. “Needle” f/Drake is #1 followed by “FTCU” at #2 and “Barbie Dangerous” at #4
McRae’s THINK LATER (RCA) is also Top 10 on both charts: #2 at iTunes and #9 at Apple Music.
On the sales side, Old Gods of Asgard’s Rebirth—Greatest Hits (Music From the Games Alan Wake 1 & 2 and Control) (Playground Music) jumps in at #3; Kylie Minogue’s Extension (The Extended Mixes) (Darenote/BMG) steps in at #7; and The Killers’ Rebel Diamonds (Island) glisten at #10.
Just beyond the crush of Minaj songs at iTunes is Guns N’ Roses’ “The General” (Geffen) at #29.
