AEG Presents will exclusively book and run day-to-day operations for Notes Live’s Sunset Amphitheater, currently under construction in Colorado Springs.
The Sunset will present about 40 concerts per year in the 8,000-capacity open-air space. The $55k venue is on schedule to open in 2024. The AEG/Notes Live deal will be in place for 10 years.
“This entertainment destination will be a crown jewel in the community for artists and fans to enjoy for years to come,” said Brent Fedrizzi, co-president & COO, AEG Presents Rocky Mountains.
The Sunset is on the same campus as Notes Live’s current mid-sized music venue, Boot Barn Hall. Amenities include 92 VIP luxury fire-pit suites and a $20m fine-dining establishment with a rooftop bar carrying more than 150 of the rarest bourbons in the world.
The Sunset will offer views of sunsets over Pikes Peak. The U.S. Air Force Academy stadium will be on the left and the Air Force chapel on the right.
“I can't express the magnitude of our excitement as we embark on this incredible journey alongside AEG Presents,” said Notes Live CEO JW Roth. “This partnership not only solidifies and validates our business model but also represents a truly exceptional alliance.”
They had us at “bourbon.”
