HIP-HOP AT 50: BIG DADDY KANE & EASY MO BEE ADDED TO ASCAP EXPERIENCE

ASCAP has tapped trailblazing rappers Big Daddy Kane and Easy Mo Bee to host the panel "Celebrating 50 Years of Hip-Hop" at the 2023 ASCAP Experience, 6/21 in Los Angeles. The event, which will see Timbaland keynote, will take place at Avalon Hollywood.

The summit kicks off at 11am PT with a few words from ASCAP Chairman and President Paul Williams before launching into sessions that will cover topics like how to build a career in the social media age and the impact of AI on how music is made. There will also be a live song-feedback session at which aspiring music professionals can get advice and suggestions from established artists.

The daylong program will end with "The Writers Jam," during which songwriters Leon Thomas, JT Harding and BUZZ will play their hits and tell the stories behind their biggest songs. For more information about the sold-out ASCAP Experience, click here.
