Enter Shikari are leading an all-new U.K. Official Albums Top 5 at this week’s halfway point. Over on singles, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding are back on top.
Should they hold onto their position by Friday, Enter Shikari will have their first #1 with seventh set A Kiss For The Whole World (So Recordings).
However, Everything But The Girl could surge ahead: Fuse (Buzzin’ Fly), their first album together in 24 years, is just 400 sales behind at #2.
Two exclusive Record Store Day vinyl releases are in the Top 5: Taylor Swift’s folklore - The Long Pond Studio Sessions (EMI) is #3 and The 1975’s Live With The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra (Polydor) is #4.
Enter Shikari have a second high-charting entry with the vinyl-exclusive pressing of Live at Alexandra Palace 3 at #5.
Agust D—the alias for BTS member Suga—could chart at #6 with his debut solo album, D-Day (BigHit), while Jethro Tull’s RökFlöte (InsideOutMusic) is set for #8.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, after being dethroned last week, “Miracles” (Columbia) by Harris and Goulding could return to #1. The track's closest competition is David Kushner’s “Daylight” (Miserable Music), which is up one to #2.
Switch Disco and Ella Henderson’s “React” (Relentless) could break into the Top 10 at #8. Social media star HStikkytokky and General G are on track to claim this week’s highest new entry with their self-released “Twust” at #11.
