STYLES LEADS IVOR NOMS 

Harry Styles & Kid Harpoon are up for three Ivor Novello Awards, while Cleopatra Nikolic and Dean “Inflo” Josiah Cover are among the most-nominated songwriters.

Songwriter of the Year will be a battle among Styles & Harpoon, Florence Welch, Wet Leg's Rhian Teasdale & Hester Chambers, The 1975’s George Daniel & Matty Healy and Central Cee & Young Chencs.

Styles & Harpoon have also been nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically and Most Performed Work for "As It Was."

In contention for Best Album are the writers behind Arctic Monkeys' The Car, Obongjayar’s Some Nights I Dream of Doors and Fontaines D.C.’s Skinty Fia. Nikolic and Cover are both nominated twice in this category, for their work on Little Simz’s No Thank You and SAULT’s 11. A nod for Best Song for SAULT's "Stronger" brings their tally to three.

In Most Performed Work, Ed Sheeran makes history as “Bad Habits” is once again acknowledged after having won the award last year. He is the first artist to achieve this feat. Sheeran's “Shivers” was also nominated in the category.

Names to look out for in Rising Star include Sony signings Cat Burns and venbee, songwriter Ines Dunn, 0207 Def Jam singer- producer tendai and Parlophone singer-songwriter Victoria Canal.
