The "New York Classic Fishing Tournament" will make its return 5/11. Hosted by Crush Music’s Bob McLynn and 237’s Mark Weiss, the third annual event will benefit Global Citizen. This year’s advisory board includes Crush’s Dan Kruchkow, Masur Griffitts Avidor LLP attorney Elliot Resnik, CAA’s Bobby Cory, producer Joey Krutel and CVC Capital Partners’ Chris Stadler.
All proceeds will go to Global Citizen, the international advocacy organization committed to ending poverty.
The winner of the last Fishing Classic was two-time Olympic gold medalist and NBA Hall of Famer Chris Mullin.
Boats depart from North Cove Marina in downtown Manhattan. The tournament takes place 1-6pm ET. An afterparty will begin at 6pm ET at PJ Clarke’s on the west side of the FiDi Marina. For more information, click here while we dig up our waders.
