UMPG topper Jody Gerson is one of the top-ranked woman executives in the business and the only female global chair among the Big 3. As we salute Women’s History Month—and assess the progress (or lack thereof) of women professionals in the biz—it seems apt to note Gerson’s considerable achievements, the most recent of which include seeing her signing Tobias Jesso Jr. become the first-ever Grammy Songwriter of the Year and major triumphs for such Uni writers as SZA, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Adele, Steve Lacy and ROSALÍA. Renowned as an artist whisperer as well as a prominent figure in the industry sisterhood, Jody, like the rest of the music world, hopes we become history as soon as possible.
