WEEZER TAKES INDIE ROCK ROAD TRIP

Weezer is hitting 30 cities on its summertime Indie Rock Road Trip, with support from the likes of Modest Mouse and Spoon.

The Crush Music act’s tour starts 6/4 in Huntsville, Ala., and includes stops at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens 7/13 (with Future Islands and Joyce Manor) and Irvine's FivePoint Amphitheater on 9/2 (with Spoon and White Reaper). The outing wraps 9/3 in San Diego.

Tickets for Weezer's Indie Rock Road Trip go on sale Friday (3/3). Based on the poster, the band is forgoing the bus for Easy Rider-style choppers and wisely does not have a stop in New Orleans.
