Live Nation Urban is honoring Black History Month with a multi-event series called "Afro-Renaissance." Hitting six cities, it started last week with a jam session in L.A.
"Afro-Renaissance" was created to amplify Black voices, create space for Black creativity and spotlight resources and industry executives for those looking to grow professionally and learn more about the entertainment business. Partnering with local Black-owned businesses and organizations such as Uncle Nearest, Broccoli City and Wtmove.app, the events will also act as a recruiting platform for HBCU students from Clark Atlanta University and Howard University.
