U.K. CHARTS: SMITH CLAIMS THIRD #1

It's a third #1 for Sam Smith as Gloria (Capitol) tops the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart. Over on singles, Miley Cyrus remains on high.

Gloria follows Smith’s former chart-toppers, debut In the Lonely Hour in 2014 and 2017’s The Thrill of It All.

Elsewhere, Eminem’s Curtain Call–The Hits (Interscope) returns to the Top 5 for the first time since 2006, at #5. The latest instalment of the Bob Dylan Bootleg Series, Fragments–Time Out of Mind Sessions 1996-1997 (Sony Music CG), is #9. It’s Dylan's 42nd Top 10 LP.

Ava Max debuts at #11 with Diamonds & Dancefloors (Atlantic). Finally, Lil Yachty achieves a career best with Let’s Start Here (Quality Control), charting at #32.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Cyrus’ “Flowers” (RCA) holds onto #1 for a third week. The track outsold Miley's closest competition, RAYE f/070 Shake’s “Escapism.” (Human Re Sources), by more than two to one. “Flowers” shifted over 106k in sales this week, including 12m streams, making it again the most-streamed song in the U.K.

Following an explosion on TikTok, Miguel’s 2010 single “Sure Thing” (JIVE) rises to a new peak of #6. It’s Miguel's highest chart position in the U.K. to date.

The week’s highest new entry is “Voices” (Atlantic) from KSI and Oliver Tree at #11. Tiësto and Tate McRae’s slow-burning dance hit, “10:35” (Atlantic), ascends one to #13.

The Kid LAROI’s “Love Again” (Columbia) is another new entry, at #19, while Mimi Webb levitates one to #20 with “Red Flags” (Epic).
