HITS Daily Double

Taylor Swift’s Midnights (Republic) has become the first vinyl release of the 21st century to sell more than 1 million copies.

We've been telling you that Taylor's marketing machine is the mightiest in the land, and this latest benchmark reinforces that assertion. Other top-selling vinyl albums of the new millennium include Kendrick Lamar’s acclaimed 2012 set, good kid, m.A.A.d city (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope), at 807k and Harry Styles’ 2019 release, Fine Line (Columbia), at 685k.

How many of Tay's fans even own turntables? And how many of them know you can use a gatefold cover to clean weed? We have so many questions.
