SCREEN GEMS

At NYC eatery Harry Cipriani, two industry legends hoisted digital devices to tout high-profile appearances in various media. Rock megastar Bono's tablet showcased the cover of his new book, SURRENDER: 40 Songs, One Story, while ultra-executive Clive Davis' phone offered David Hockney's painting of him in the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. The pair then wondered what else they might do with their gizmos; Bono suggested they review the headlines on our website. They both then enjoyed a hearty guffaw, as well as the remaining breadsticks.
