Two songs by indie artists scaling the Shazam USA Top 100 benefit from placements in films: Kiana Lede & Cautious Clay’s “Who Do You Think You Are” is in Netflix’s The School for Good & Evil and Eric Zayne’s “Exile” is in the new Dwayne Johnson movie Black Adam.

Kizz Daniel’s “Cough (Odo)” (Empire), a massive hit in his native Nigeria, is catching on around the globe; it’s the first track off Empire’s upcoming Afrobeats compilation, Where We Come From, Vol. 01.

This week’s TikTok-driven delight is Exotix’s “Ton1ght.”
