THE FUTURE IS GRITTY

Live Nation Women has invested part of its Live Nation Women Fund into INPINK's Gritty In Pink, a new platform connecting the music industry to female creators and pros. The investment contributes to Gritty In Pink's upcoming $1m pre-seed round and further supports the mission of founder/CEO Shira Yevin and INPINK to empower underrepresented women in the biz.

Backed by Melissa Etheridge, who serves as a strategic advisor, the organization also boasts the INPINK Marketplace, "a pipeline of talented female and non-binary freelancers accessible through a searchable, online roster of professionals across the country."

With Live Nation Women's help, Gritty In Pink will continue its vision to be "the global destination" to hire female freelancers who are in the market for freelance services in a variety of sectors.

“It’s been the ride of my dreams so far, watching Gritty grow from a little event series in January 2020 to a livestream show, online network, launching a marketplace, teaming up with legendary names like Melissa Etheridge, Joan Jett and now Live Nation," Yevin said. "And to think, we’re just getting started. The future of music is female.”

Gritty In Pink and Live Nation Women have also teamed up on a residency at The Echo LA for their All GRL Jam series, which features more than 50 female/non-binary musicians performing themed cover songs. The next All GRL Jam: Holiday Special is 12/8. Entry is free with login to INPINK. Find more information here as we continue down the road less traveled.
