Nicki Minaj joins the first crop of announced performers for the 2022 MTV VMAs, which includes J. Balvin w/Ryan Castro, Anitta, Marshmello x Khalid and Panic! at The Disco. The Young Money/Republic queen will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Slated for 8/28 in Newark, the event will mark Minaj's first performance on the VMA stage since 2018. The rapper is releasing her third single, "Super Freaky Girl," 8/12. She's also teased a six-part HBO Max documentary series.
