TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Netflix’s Stranger Things is dominating popular culture this summer, so it’s no surprise that it rules the biggest-movers list of the Shazam Top 100 in the U.S. and U.K.

Three songs that appear in the season’s eighth episode—as well as on Sony Legacy’s soundtrack for season 4—are in the Top 5 on both sides of the pond, led by Journey’s 1983 Top 10 hit “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” (Columbia). The track was also used in episode 1.

Right behind Steve Perry & Co. is Metallica's eight-minute-plus opus from 1986, “Master of Puppets” (Blackened), and Siouxsie and the Banshees’ 1981 “Spellbound” (Polydor). Both songs are also used in the ninth episode, as is Moby’s 1995 track “When It’s Cold I’d Like to Die” (Elektra).

The lone newcomer attracting thumbs is Cardi B’s latest, “Hot Shit” (Atlantic).
