A CONCERT FOR EARTH (NOT WAY DOWN BELOW THE OCEAN)

Black Eyed Peas, Nicole Scherzinger, Pitbull, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Mod Sun, Julian Lennon, girlfriends, special guest Sting and more will appear at the inaugural Atlantis Concert for Earth, a nonprofit show and global conservation summit.

Hosted by Scherzinger, the event—mounted in partnership with the Azores Islands of Portugal—will transpire 7/22-23 inside a volcano crater in Sete Cidades (a civil parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada) and be livestreamed for free via Veeps.

The Concert for Earth will also showcase work by conservationists and organizations including Re:wild, Sea Legacy, Blue Azores, The Ocean Cleanup, Innerspace and The White Feather Foundation. Carbon emissions generated by the event will be calculated, reduced and, where possible, removed with support from A Greener Festival.

“We're using the universal language and power of music to celebrate the conservationists and entrepreneurs leading the way with real, tangible solutions,” said Atlantis Entertainment CEO/co-founder and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, an Azores native who conceived the event with Atlantis Entertainment co-founders Rene M. Rigal and Steven Schuurman.

Tickets are available to Azores locals.

100% of donations made during the livestream will support the work of the festival’s conservation partners. For more on the Atlantis Concert for Earth, click here.
