CHART FINAL:
TYLER IS BACK AT #1

Columbia’s Tyler, The Creator returns to #1 on the HITS Top 50 chart, propelled by a vinyl version of Call Me If You Get Lost, which delivers 59k. Having debuted at #1 last July, his sixth album has collected 674k in total activity.

The critically acclaimed artist has had quite a month, scoring his second Grammy win, for Best Rap Album, before wrapping up his North American tour, which sold out 32 arenas. Tyler’s merch sales are through the roof as well.

Morgan Wallen’s unstoppable Dangerous (Big Loud/Republic) holds the #2 position with 51k, boosted by the release of non-album track “Don’t Think Jesus.” Lil Durk’s 7220 (Alamo), Disney’s Encanto soundtrack and Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR (Geffen) round out the Top 5. Close behind are Top 10 mainstays The Weeknd (XO/Republic), Drake (OVO/Republic) and Kemosabe/RCA’s Doja Cat.

With no major new releases this week, albums from Luke Combs, Pop Smoke and Post Malone return to the Top 20, while Lil Baby’s My Turn (Quality Control/Motown) re-enters the Top 10 with 20k. Activity on the chart sees little separation among entries overall, with several acts experiencing big jumps but only minor changes in activity from the previous week. Tellingly, the #10 and #25 spots are separated by less than 3k.

Streeting this week are projects by Def Jam’s Pusha T, Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean and Redwing’s Bonnie Raitt, which will have vinyl day and date and could benefit from Record Store Day on 4/23.
