U.K. CHARTS: CRASH LANDS AT #1

With CRASH (Atlantic), Charli XCX has claimed her first U.K. Official Albums #1. Over on singles, Dave secures a third week at the top.

CRASH betters the #14 peak XCX hit with her third album, Charli, in 2019. The set hits the top of the chart today on majority physical sales, which account for 70% of its total.

ArrDee is new at #2 with his debut mixtape, Pier Pressure (Island), while Sea GirlsHomesick (Polydor) becomes their second Top 10, at #3.

Feeder’s Torpedo (Big Teeth) is the band’s 10th Top 10, at #5, and Sam Tompkins’ major-label debut EP, Who Do You Pray To? (Island), charts at #7.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles chart, Dave’s “Starlight” (NBR) remains on top thanks to 7.3m listens on streaming services in the last seven days. “Baby” (Capitol) by Aitch and Ashanti holds at #2.

Cat Burns “Go” (RCA) continues to rise, up two to #8. Bad Boy Chiller Crew’s “BMW” (Relentless) is its first Top 10 hit, rising 12 to #9.

Outside the Top 10, several tracks make gains; George Ezra’s “Anyone for You” (Columbia) jumps two to #12, while Tiesto and Ava Max also move two, to #13, with “The Motto” (Atlantic).

Camila Cabello f/Ed Sheeran’s “Bam Bam” (Epic) is up two to #16, and Liilz f/ZieZie’s “Glad U Came” (Robots & Humans) rockets 18 places to #17.
