OSCARS DRUM UP ECLECTIC SLATE OF PERFORMERS

The Motion Picture Academy has announced its first slate of musical performers for the 94th Academy Awards telecast: Travis Barker, Sheila E., Robert Glasper and D-Nice.

Speaking of musical performers, Beyoncé, Van Morrison, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS have received nominations in the Best Original Song category, as has Lin-Manuel Miranda, who'd secure EGOT status with a win, and Diane Warren, who now has 13 noms to her credit but has yet to win.

The 2022 Oscars ceremony will take place 3/27 at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre and will be broadcast live on ABC.
