Alanis Morissette is taking her delayed celebration of the 25th anniversary of her landmark Jagged Little Pill on tour again this summer. And she has a new song.
Produced by Live Nation, the outing will kick off 7/10 in Ottawa and include stops in Toronto and Bethel, N.Y., before wrapping 8/6 in Mountain View, Calif. Garbage will open for the Crush-managed artist. The North American dates will follow a June tour of Europe with Beth Orton.
By selling more than half a million tickets in 2021, Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill trek became the #1 female-fronted tour of the year.
On Friday Morissette will release a new song, “Olive Branch” (Epiphany Music), which she co-wrote with Michael Farrell, who produced it with Henrik Jakobsson.
