DR. DRE, MARY J. AND SNOOP SCORE AT iTUNES

After catching a memorable Super Bowl halftime show, fans went straight to the iTunes store to load up on hip-hop classics.

Eleven songs performed during halftime at SoFi are in the Top 15 at iTunes this morning, led by Dr. Dre, who has four in the Top 10: “The Next Episode,” “Still D.R.E.” and "Nuthin' But a G Thang," featuring fellow performer Snoop Dogg, and “California Love." Mary J. Blige’s 2001 track “Family Affair” is #4, followed by Eminem's "Lose Yourself" at #5.

Performers Eminem, 50 Cent, Blige, Dre and Snoop had another nine songs in the Top 40.

At albums, Blige’s Friday release, Good Morning Gorgeous (MJP/300), is #2 and Snoop’s Friday drop, BODR (Death Row), is #8, succeeded by his 1993 debut, Doggystyle, at #9. Dr. Dre’s 2001 (Aftermath/Interscope) rose to #3 and his 1992 solo debut, The Chronic (Death Row/Interscope), lights up #6. Eminem’s hits collection, Curtain Call (Shady/Aftermath/ Interscope), rises to #10, the 20-year-old The Eminem Show is #15 and The Marshall Mathers LP is #19.

Dr. Dre f/Snoop Dogg’s "Still D.R.E," "Nuthin' But a G Thang" and “The Next Episode” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” cruised into the Top 40 at Apple Music along with Dre & Em's "Forgot About Dre."

One song from the plethora of commercials that got viewers to add to their download collections: ELO’s 1973 hit “Showdown.” The song was featured in the Michelob Ultra ad featuring Peyton Manning at a bowling alley. It's Top 15 and the 2005 ELO hits compilation All Over the World is in the Top 30.
