ADA ADDS TWO DEPARTMENT HEADS

WMG’s ADA Worldwide has two new department heads: Sam Juneman has been named Head of Marketing & Services and Andrea Slobodien will be the company’s first Head of Product & Integration.

Juneman (B&W photo) and Slobodien will be based on the West Coast and report directly to ADA President Cat Kreidich.

Juneman will define and lead the company’s marketing efforts, from audience development to commercial strategy, as well as catalog optimization. She will work closely with Head of U.S. Marcus Siskind to develop label and artist businesses in the U.S. and Head of International Adriana Sein to scale services and support global repertoire growth.

Kreidich started restructuring ADA’s leadership in September, bringing in Siskind and Sein.

Slobodien will be responsible for translating ADA’s broader strategy into an all-encompassing product and technology vision. This means developing third-party-label and artist-services tech while advancing operations functionality and synergy in the broader Warner Music ecosystem.

Kreidich said that a key to ADA’s reinvention is “making sure we’re properly set up to be agile, work efficiently and collaborate across the organization to drive real impact," adding, "It was important that we brought in people who share our vision for the future, with a tech-forward approach and an unwavering commitment to the indie community. I’m pleased to say that Sam and Andrea are all that and more. Together with our new leadership team, we’re focused on innovating and supporting creators so our artists and labels can focus on what they do best and run their businesses.”

Juneman spent a decade at Universal Music Group working in marketing, content and commercial partnerships for artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Big Sean. She most recently served as Vice President of Music Strategy & Tactics.

Slobodien spent almost a decade in product-management and innovation leadership roles at music and gaming companies. Most recently, she was Head of Product for ProGuides and Product Innovation Lead for DistroKid.

In addition to these appointments, Ty Teixeira joins ADA from DistroKid as Vice President of Operations, reporting to Slobodien.
