Spotify unveiled its 2021 Wrapped Wednesday.
Bad Bunny was once again the platform's biggest global artist, earning 9.1 billion streams this year. The Latin superstar didn't release an album in 2021, but the sextuple-platinum El Último Tour del Mundo dropped in late November 2020. Taylor Swift was the most-streamed female artist on the Spot in 2021, ranking #2 overall.
Olivia Rodrigo finished at #1 on both the Songs and Albums global Top 10. "drivers license" was the platform's biggest song, with 1.1b streams this year, while SOUR (Geffen) was Spotify's most-streamed album.
As for domestic action, Drake was the most-streamed artist in the U.S., followed by Swift and Juice WRLD. Rodrigo had the two biggest songs in the U.S. in 2021 with "drivers license" and "good 4 u."
