TOOL GETS BACK ON THE ROAD IN 2022

Tool will spend the first five months of 2022 touring Europe and the U.S., hitting nearly 40 arenas in North America.

The band chose to kick off the tour in Eugene, Ore., as a nod to the abrupt halt of their 2020 Fear Incoculum Tour, which was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic and thus forced to disappoint fans in Eugene. The night before, the ITB-booked act grossed more than $1m at Portland’s Moda Center.

Tool drummer Danny Carey said, “These past 18 months have been trying to say the least, but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you.”

Tickets go on sale Friday; Tool Army members can purchase pre-sale tickets for European dates on Tuesday, with the U.S. pre-sale starting Wednesday.

Blonde Redhead opens from 1/10 to 2/10; The Acid Helps opens 2/19 to 3/20.
