MILK & HONEY GOES DOWN UNDER

Lucas Keller's Milk & Honey Music + Sports + Ventures has announced an expansion into the Australasia region. Veteran music exec Daniel Nall, who recently relocated to Australia after three years at M&H headquarters in Los Angeles, will head Milk & Honey Australia New Zealand. Keller was captured in the photo above, flanked by Nall and M&H Head of International Peter Coquillard, shortly before tearing into a bottle of 17-year-old Tasmanian single malt from Sullivan's Cove.

Milk & Honey will now have offices in L.A., N.Y., Nashville, Dallas, London, Amsterdam and Australia New Zealand, each of which is fully outfitted with a wall of Marshall stacks so Lucas can practice his "forbidden riffs." The firm's roster of clients in the southern hemisphere includes Australian writer/producers PJ Harding, Louis Schoorl and Ned Houston; ex-Oz writer/producers Stuart Crichton, Tushar Apte and Whakaio Taahi; and longtime artist clients Hook N Sling, Tommy Trash and Feenixpawl.

Nall's CV features stints at Sony, Warner, Universal, Ministry of Sound and the BBC; he has worked multiple Top 10 records for the likes of Mark Ronson, Muse and Portugal The Man. As a manager, Nall discovered multiplatinum talent PJ Harding, guided Rich Costey as he produced various #1 albums and relaunched the career of Tommy Trash.

“I’ve been traveling to Sydney twice a year for some time, and have been a huge fan of Australian music and the local business for a number of years," reads a quote from Keller. "It will be great to have a presence on the ground to integrate with our other offices as we make it a priority to represent more Australian/New Zealand talent in the coming years. And being this far from HITS just gives you a warm, peaceful feeling.”

To honor the new expansion, Keller will be working out of the Outback Steakhouse in Burbank on Fridays.
