U.K. CHARTS: KANYE CLAIMS #1

Kanye West’s Donda (UMG) has landed at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart on 20k sales. Over on singles, Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” (Atlantic) scores a 10th week at the top.

Of Donda’s total sales, 91% counted for streaming equivalents and 9% for downloads. In total, the album racked up 33.4m streams across its 27 tracks.

The debut from Maisie Peters, You Signed Up for This (Gingerbread Man), is new at #2, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR (Polydor), which drops to #3.

CHVRCHES land at #4 with Screen Violence (Virgin) and Halsey completes the Top 5 with If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power (EMI).

Elsewhere, Becky Hill’s Only Honest on the Weekend (Polydor) opens at #7 and KSI’s All Over the Place (BMG) rebounds to #10 following a deluxe edition release.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Bad Habits” tallied over 8.8m streams this week to stay at #1 and finished 16k sales ahead of #2, “Stay” (RCA) by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber. Sheeran now claims the longest-reigning #1 single in the U.K. since “Dance Monkey” (Parlophone) by Tones & I, which spent 11 consecutive weeks at #1 in 2019.

“Industry Baby” (RCA) by Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow is up two to a new peak at #5, landing just ahead of Joel Corry and Jax Jones’ “Out Out” (Atlantic) f/Charlie XCX and Saweetie, which rises four to #6.

Kanye West scores his 21st Top 10 single with #7 “Hurricane,” one of three of his Top 40 entries, along with “Jail” at #11 and “Off the Grid” at #15.

Anne-Marie & Little Mix’s “Kiss My (Uh Oh)” (Atlantic) flies six places to #10 following a "Girl Power Remix" featuring Becky Hill, Raye and Stefflon Don.
