CMA SUMMER JAM SET FOR ABC PRIMETIME

CMA has announced the broadcast of CMA Summer Jam, which will air Thursday, 9/2, at 8pm PT/ET on ABC. Filmed over two nights at Nashville's open-air Ascend Amphitheater, the three-hour primetime special will feature individual performances and collaborations from more than 20 of the biggest stars in country music.

Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Mickey Guyton, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell, Lainey Wilson and Dwight Yoakam will light up the stage.

Bentley will appear alongside BRELAND and HARDY live from his Whiskey Row nightclub on Broadway, Eric Church will beam in from the city’s John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge overlooking the Cumberland River and Darius Rucker will take the outdoor stage at Nashville’s brand new downtown Fifth & Broadway complex.

“I am still grinning ear to ear from these last two nights of incredible live country music,” said CMA CEO Sarah Trahern. “Seeing artists finally return to the stage and the reaction from fans was absolutely electric.”

Filmed throughout July, Summer Jam marks the first concert broadcast event for CMA in nearly two years. Robert Deaton is the show's executive producer and writer; Alan Carter directed.
