Warner Music Nashville breakout Gabby Barrett is a fitting choice for the cover of our 2021 Nashville Spotlight special issue. She’s one of several young country artists who are ruling at radio, crossing over and streaming up a storm. Her “I Hope” became a mega-smash, with follow-up “The Good Ones” also hitting hard. ACM, CMT and numerous other awards followed. But this HITS cover appearance is definitely a trophy she didn’t ask for.
