DRAKE ENTERS VENUE BIZ WITH LIVE NATION

Drake is ready to make History with Live Nation Canada.

Drizzy and Live Nation Canada are collaborating on a new live entertainment venue, called History, in Toronto’s Beach District with a capacity of 2,500. The plan is to present 200 concerts and events annually.

“Some of my most memorable shows were playing in a small room like History,” Drake said. “To create a great experience for both artists and fans, I wanted to take those memories and what I learned."

Construction is expected to be completed later this summer.

“We saw an opportunity to bring Toronto a great new venue, and we have so much gratitude and respect for Drake teaming up with us to bring it to life in the best way possible,” said Michael Rapino, President and CEO, Live Nation Entertainment.
